How to get Inferno Keys

Choose a Final Swarm Inferno Key route: normal worlds for direct earnings, or qualifying raid quests. Compare gear requirements and reward limits.

World rewards and quest rewards are different

For direct Inferno Key earnings, play normal worlds. The September 14 creator guide says raids do not directly pay Inferno Keys, but raid wins or shards can still advance particular Inferno quests. This distinction matters: choose worlds for an ordinary farming run; choose a raid only when a quest objective is the reason.

DIRECT KEYS

Play normal worlds

Ordinary raid rewards are not direct Inferno Key payouts.

QUEST PROGRESS

Check the objective

A raid win or shards may advance a qualifying Inferno quest.

Choose your world and difficulty

If you can clear Volcano on Nightmare, the guide recommends that world and difficulty with Dizzy Swarm, Double Trouble and another modifier transcribed as “POVU”. The first label could not be checked visually, so do not guess a menu selection from that spelling. Start with modifiers you understand and can survive. A failed high-difficulty attempt can defeat the purpose; lower difficulty or a squad is a practical fallback, not a measured best-Keys-per-hour claim.

Match the quest to the activity

Choose by objective: Inferno Slayer is a kill objective, so the guide favors solo to keep kills. For Inferno Champion, a well-geared player can use fast normal raid wins; weak gear can make that slower than useful world runs. For the grading-related quest, the creator uses Nightmare raids with a squad for shards and reports five raid tickets per 12-hour refresh. Collector and Veteran progress through ordinary play. Match the currently displayed objective before committing tickets.

Read reward numbers with their conditions

The creator reports a tier-10 reward of 30,000 Inferno Keys, described as 600 chests, and warns rewards might change. That example implies 50 Keys per chest at the time of the recording; it is not a verified current shop price or a promise that every tier pays 30,000. The same run's high multiplier payout is gear- and survival-dependent, so no fixed hourly rate is promised.

Worked choice: use your next run well

Worked choice: if you have raid tickets but want direct keys and no relevant raid quest, run a world. If your Champion objective needs wins and your gear clears normal raids quickly, spend tickets for that objective and claim the quest reward. After earning keys, read the Weapon Week chest decision before opening everything.
